The University of Queensland's Centre for Natural Gas has expertise in the following: gas production, environmental management, GHG modelling and detection, LCA, cumulative socio-economic impacts, social license and ESG, policy and economic advice - especially related to very large scale CBM/CSG production on land shared with intensive and extensive agriculture. Other partner schools and centres at UQ include expertise in biogas/biomethane (agribusiness, techno-economics of biogas/biomethane production and processing, LCA, synergies with algae for high value food/energy products - both enteric and crop-based), and coal mine methane (coal mining production, mine-safety, mine-degassing and utilization). |
