Emissions Quantification and Measurement, Reporting, and Verification | 40 | Dr Lamb has been involved in methane emission studies beginning in the 1990's with the GRI/EPA national study of the natural gas supply chain. This continued in 2013 with the EDF series of emission field programs. Emission factors used by EPA for the Greenhouse Gas Emission Inventory have been based on results from Lamb's emission measurements of underground pipeline leaks and metering and pressure regulating stations. Most recently Dr Lamb has worked with a local distribution company to report new methods and data for methane emissions from customer meters and below ground pipeline leaks. |
