The GMI Oil & Gas Subcommittee meeting was held on 27 March 2025 in person and virtually in Geneva, Switzerland at the Palais des Nations in conjunction with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe's (UNECE)
12th Session of the UNECE Group of Experts on Gas meeting. The GMI’s Oil & Gas Subcommittee convened a meeting to discuss methane technologies, practices, resources, and mitigation efforts in various UN Member States, including through abatement, recovery, and use of methane in the oil and gas sector.
