The Global Methane Initiative’s (GMI) Steering Committee met on 9 February 2022. The meeting took place virtually using the Microsoft Teams platform.
The purpose of the Steering meeting was to:
- Discuss how GMI and its Partner Countries can support ambitious global methane emission reduction goals, such as the Global Methane Pledge goal of 30 percent global methane emissions reductions by 2030
- Strategic planning to position GMI for the next 5 to 10 years
- Plans for the Global Methane Forum 2022
