In cooperation with the Under Secretariat of Environmental Management of the Municipality of Bahia Blanca and the Provincial Agency for Sustainable Development (OPDS) of the Province of Buenos Aires, U.S. EPA staff hosted a workshop for municipalities in the southern part of the Buenos Aires Province on the regionalization of landfills, the basics of landfills and landfill gas and the opportunities of the utilization of landfill methane. At the end of the workshop, the participants had the opportunity to tour the Bahia Blanca landfill.
