Results and Outcomes
This project is an abandoned mine feasibility study and an assessment of coal mine methane to liquefied natural gas (LNG). Revaporated LNG may be used as fuel for technological processes in energy-intensive industry sectors as an alternative to heating oil. The LNG market will be assessed at two levels: general identification of market potential in Poland, and precise identification of a targeted market for LNG produced from the abandoned Zory mine.
