The 19th International Symposium on CBM/CMM in China was held on December 11, 2019 in the Landmark Hotel, Beijing of P.R. China. The symposium was organized by the China Coal Information Institute with the support of the EPA and National Coal Mine Safety Administration, P.R. China.  The International Symposium on CBM/CMM brought together an international group of more than 200 experts and stakeholders to discuss project-oriented solutions to CBM/CMM development. Specific topics discussed included:
  • Key technologies of coal and gas outburst prevention and control
  • CMM drainage and utilization technologies
  • Development of integrated coal mining and gas extraction technologies
  • Comprehensive control technologies of integrated surface and underground gas recovery
  • Approaches of CBM exploration and development projects
  • Key technologies of CBM exploration and development
  • Opportunities and challenges for CBM industrialization in China
  • AMM recovery and utilization technologies
  • VAM utilization technologies
