Landfill Operations Workshop

Event Details: On December 4th and 5th, the Methane to Markets Partnership held a Landfill Operations Workshop in Cancún, México. The Workshop was hosted by EPA's Landfill Methane Outreach Program (LMOP), in collaboration with the Secretaria de Desarrollo Urbano y Medio Ambiente del Estado de Quintana Roo (SEDUMA) and the Dirección de Ecología del Municipio de Benito Juárez Cancún. The event was held at the Radisson Hacienda Cancun Hotel located in downtown Cancún. Approximately 45 professionals, from municipalities of the states of Quintana Roo, Yucatan, Tabasco, Chiapas, Oaxaca and Veracruz, attended the workshop.
