- This project supports work to compile an inventory of all landfills in the state. The work is being done by a Brazilian non-profit group who is working with Midwest Research Institute. Objectives include the collection of data on the current solid waste management process, the review current state-of-the-art technologies for methane optimization, recovery, and use, and preparation of a state-wide landfill management plan to improve methane capture and use in the state.
