- The main objective of this project is to establish a reliable, cost effective system for monitoring and managing the Gazprom Group’s methane emissions. This will involve conducting a pilot study on a regional scale to assess Gazprom's methane emissions, potential cost effective project opportunities, and provide recommendations for establishing a corporate methane management system. This project will also analyze advanced economic mechanisms for attracting investment for viable methane emission reduction projects.
