- This project will undertake a comprehensive landfill inventory in Nigeria. The focus will be to conduct landfill surveys and investigations using experienced solid waste management personnel that are familiar with the complexities and barriers to access for collecting data from Nigerian facilities, based on EPA LMOP methodology and utilized by LMOP in several countries around the world. Following the reporting, results will be presented in a workshop setting as part of a relevant conference, such as the Renewable Energy Conference or the Waste Management Society of Nigeria (WAMASON) conference in Nigeria in 2010.
